These clocks have been designed with reliability in mind; they should run trouble-free for many years.
Clocks require maintenance. It should be returned to the workshop after about three years - I will dismantle and inspect it fully, clean all parts, replace any worn items, fit a new cord and re-oil the bearing surfaces. There is a charge for this service. I will repair (and possibly modify) any clock that just stops working for free.
